Description
Salicylic acid: Salicylic acid, or BHA (beta hydroxy acid) is a fat-soluble chemical exfoliant. Exfoliation is not meant literally; the 2% strength salicylic acid gently removes the dead skin cells accumulated deep in the pores, thus helping the skin to regenerate - however, it will not cause visible peeling with proper use. Its famously good properties also include its fantastic effect against blackheads and acne.
Zinc PCA: The serum contains 1% Zinc PCA, which perfectly complements the great beneficial effects of salicylic acid, as it directly targets acne-causing bacteria (P.acnes) during its work, and helps regulate the sebum production of the skin.
Panthenol: Panthenol (also known as provitamin B5), is an extremely versatile, water-binding, moisturizing component that can reduce redness, soothe, and strengthen the skin's protective layer - these properties are especially beneficial in a serum formulated for problem skin.
Allantoin: Allantoin is famous for its soothing and moisturizing properties, so like panthenol, this active ingredient also has its place in this serum!

Extra sensitive skin always requires special attention, so we recommend that you carefully introduce this serum into your routine.
From what age can it be used?
It can be used against skin problems but not daily (carefully) from the age of 14.
How long will it take to take effect?
With regular and proper use, you can see changes in just a few weeks.
||||| Directions |||||If you have not used salicylic acid before, introduce it like this:
During the introduction period, use it a maximum of two times a week for two weeks, then gradually, week by week, increase the frequency as needed. Thanks to its salicylic acid content, it helps to gently remove dead skin cells deep in the pores, so if you experience excessive skin dryness or peeling, it means that you have been using it too often. In this case, return to your basic routine (facial cleansing, hydration, sun protection) for at least one week, then reduce the frequency of use.
Maximum weekly usage:
There is no golden rule for this, it is necessary to build up the frequency of use according to the needs of your skin. Once your skin is accustomed to it, use the serum at most once per day.
Do not combine with these active ingredients within a routine:
We do not recommend simultaneous use with other AHA or PHA acid exfoliants, retinol or benzoyl peroxide.
Boost your routine with this active ingredient:
After the serum, don't forget to moisturize your skin with Elyn's Lab All-In moisturizer, which was specially created for problem skin.
Directions for use:
In the evening or in the morning, after cleansing your face, apply a few drops to your dry skin and distribute evenly. After use, continue facial care with your usual serums/moisturizer.

I have combination skin with many enlarged pores on my nose and face, which is why I was also looking for a good salicylic acid product. Previous attempts with a product from another well-known brand were a complete failuret tugged at my skin from the very first seconds and had a terrible, glue-like smell. Insteadd, I tried this Elyns Lab product, and it was a superb decision: it has no scent, doesn’t leave that pulling sensation on my skin, doesn’t cause allergic reactions, and is easy to apply It also helps keep my pores under cgontrol—those tiny white "dots" that frequently appeared on my forehead have completely disappeared, and even the few pimples that occasionally cropped up are now much less frequent. I’ve been using it twice a week in my evening routine for almost a year, and I won’t be switching it out. I will definitely repurchase it!
