Description
Main active ingredients
0.07% Retinal: Retinal is a first-generation retinoid and a gold-standard anti-aging ingredient with undeniable efficacy, backed by numerous studies. Research suggests that it converts to retinoic acid 10 times more efficiently than retinol, making it a superior choice for targeting skin aging.
Unlike retinol, retinal is gentler on the skin and less irritating, yet delivers exceptional results. It stimulates collagen production, helps prevent and reduce wrinkles, fades pigmentation spots, and even works wonders for acne-prone skin. At 0.07%, this is considered a high-strength retinal concentration, so be sure to follow the recommended introduction guidelines found on the packaging and website under the "How to Use in Your Routine" section.
2% Squalane: Squalane is a Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF) that acts as a true guardian for your skin. Known for its lightweight yet deeply nourishing properties, it reinforces the skin’s barrier, preventing moisture loss while keeping the skin soft, smooth, and protected. You could say that squalane is the unsung queen of skincare, delivering hydration without heaviness or greasiness.
Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract (Green Tea Extract): Green tea is a skincare powerhouse and one of the most well-researched antioxidant ingredients. Known for its potent protective properties, it helps defend the skin against UV-induced damage and environmental stressors. Packed with polyphenols, it soothes the skin, supports a healthy complexion, and enhances the skin’s overall resilience.
Vitamin E: Vitamin E is one of the most renowned skincare ingredients, and for good reason. Beyond its powerful antioxidant properties, it plays a key role in protecting the skin against UVB-induced damage. It helps neutralize free radicals, supports skin barrier function, and contributes to a healthier, more resilient complexion.
Coenzyme Q10 (Ubiquinone): Q10 is a naturally occurring antioxidant found in human cells, playing a vital role in cellular energy production and skin defense. It helps neutralize free radicals, supports skin renewal, and contributes to a firmer, more youthful-looking complexion.
FAQ
Can You Start Your Retinal Journey with This Cream
We do not recommend this as your first retinoid product. This cream is only suitable if you have already introduced retinal or retinol into your routine at a lower strength.
To ensure your skin adapts well, we suggest using a milder retinoid first—such as a full bottle of Age Limit serum or a 0.05% retinal serum—before transitioning to this formula. This approach helps minimize irritation and ensures the best results for your skin.
Can Retinal Cause Irritation?
Retinal is less irritating than retinol, but at this high concentration, improper use may cause peeling or other forms of irritation. In such cases, discontinue use for at least one week, then gradually reintroduce it with caution. You can find detailed guidance under the "How to Use in Your Routine" section.
Does it replace my moisturizer?
It is unlikely to replace your moisturizer – you may still need to apply your usual moisturizer afterward. In fact, if you have sensitive skin, we recommend doing so, especially during the initial introduction phase.
What skin type is it suitable for?
This face cream can be suitable for all skin types.
My skin is extremely sensitive. Can I use it?
It’s important to know that retinal can cause individual sensitivity, so use this face cream with caution.
From what age can it be used?
We recommend using this face cream starting from your twenties.
Has the product been tested on animals?
In accordance with European legislation, we do not conduct animal experiments; this is a mandatory requirement for all brands manufactured in Europe. It is a fact that we would not support animal testing regardless, so we do not make the brand's products available in countries where animal testing is mandatory.
